As a fine art student at the Corcoran School of Art & Design, where I became fascinated with the interplay between body forms and fabric. This interest evolved into a deep expertise in draping and textile manipulation. Inspired by my aunt, a fashion maven and model who once worked with Pat Cleveland, my creativity soared. A pivotal moment was attending John Galliano's haute couture show for Dior in Paris, an experience that cemented my determination to pursue a career in fashion. Milla’s journey has been filled with remarkable achievements, notably designing for esteemed individuals and top A-Listers and taste makers, worldwide, including former First Lady Michelle Obama, under the ready-to-wear brand, Kai Milla.
